In his career as a consultant he has worked with development projects of industrial electronics hardware, mobile and automotive hardware, software for embedded systems, and PC SW development. His experience makes him understand the complete dependency chain, from hardware level all the way up to PC and server software.

He enjoys working in complex, cross functional, projects with dependencies across the SW / HW and mechanical boarders.

Mathias is a self-motivated, energetic, and involved co-worker that likes to take on demanding and challenging tasks, and has no problem working with several parallel tasks. Project description Managing all PC projects for customer Dell, bringing them from customer requirements level to prototyping and production. Working directly with Dell, their suppliers and subcontractors to facilitate the design and development of customized finger print readers for Windows based laptops. Planning and driving hardware and software development and deliveries to meet customer requirements and deadlines for different phases of their project. Working and coordinating with Fingerprint SW and HW R&D + FAE teams in Sweden (Göteborg and Malmö), Taiwan and mainland China. The assignment included a substantial amount of travelling to work on site at Dell, their ODM:s and the factories producing the fingerprint modules.

Project description Developing and modifying a Python testing framework and GUI used for automation of radio hardware testing. Creating drivers for instruments and other lab equipment such as climate chambers, radio frequency transmitter load tuners and embedded radio matching components. Scripting test cases enabling users to define test sweeps in text files used for running long testing sessions. Thus automating testing of a number of radio performance parameters spanning over different frequencies, power settings and more. Creating different test tools and programs, with GUIs, for specific component validation and evaluation. Performing 3GPP conformance tests on mobile platforms prototypes. Preparing and modifying platforms for conformance testing. Quality ensurance of test systems. Programming of Agilent, Rhode & Schwarz and Anritsu 3GPP conformance test systems. Analysis of network signaling message stacks for debug. Creating Python programs for automatic test results parsing from CSV to XML file formats, to adapt data output files for other analysis software. Project role RF Verification Team Leader
Project description Planning, leading and reporting to higher management for a work group for verification and characterization of a radio transceiver prototype for use in mobile phones and as 3G-modem in computers. The assignment covered a lot of wide spreading tasks from defining verification plans, detailed planning for personnel and hardware resources and taking part in day to day work to ensure project success. Also, I did the design of the radio testing circuit boards and managed the manufacturing of them. The work force was divided of different sites and companies in Sweden, USA and France so traveling was necessary to successfully coordinate the efforts.
